Returning a Mail Ballot
Vote-by-Mail ballots must be received by the Supervisor of Elections office by 7 PM, Election Day, to be counted. They may be returned by mail or to a Secure Ballot Intake Station (formerly know as a Drop Box). If you are planning to mail your ballot, the United States Postal Service recommends that ballots be mailed to the Elections Office at least one week prior to Election Day to ensure they are received timely.
Ballot Intake Station Location
Inside the Hamilton County Supervisor of Elections office, located at 1153 US Hwy. 41 NW, Suite 1, Jasper, FL 32052.
Hours
The Ballot Intake Station will be available during normal business hours, M-F, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and during early voting hours.
Important Information
Due to the passage of Senate Bill 90 in 2021 and Senate Bill 524 in 2022, the Secure Ballot Intake Station, (Drop Box), that was previously located outside of the Supervisor of Elections office, will no longer be available. Please utilize the ballot intake station located inside the Elections Office.
Vote-by-Mail ballots cannot be accepted at any Election Day voting location. However, you can surrender your mail ballot and vote in person, if you choose.
If you have any questions, please contact your Supervisor of Elections at (386) 792-1426 or [email protected].
